Golfing

.

For the golfing visitor the villa is situated in THE best location. Just a couple of minutes from two 9 hole and two 18 hole courses. There are so many other courses in the area that you don't have to play the same course again until your next visit.

*Polo Park East Golf Course. This 9 hole course is situated adjacent to the estate the villa is in. The speed restrictions in the golf area mean that it takes all of two minutes to get there. Built in 1994 it has water hazards and a slightly rolling terrain. Dress code is shirt and shoes with no metal spikes.

*Polo Park Golf Course. Another 9 holes and a driving range. Almost as close, this course is just across the US 27. This short course built in 1985 plays along a swamp and with it's inevitable water hazards will reward good shots.

*Highland Reserve Golf Course The closest 18 hole course to the villa is a six minute drive south on the US 27. This is not your typical Orlando, Florida golf course! Highlands Reserve sits atop one of the highest areas of Florida and offers remarkable scenery.  This championship Mike Dasher design gives you pine tree-lined fairways reminiscent of the Carolinas, open spacious fairways likened to the great Scottish courses, and a bit of old Florida with citrus trees along the countryside. Large, fast, undulating greens make this course challenging and fun for all levels of golfers.

Dress code, Collared shirts and Bermuda shorts required. No denim.

*Southern Dunes Golf and Country Club. This award winning course is 15 minutes south along the US 27. Golf Week magazine rated it 51st among America's top 100 modern courses.

Built on the site of an orange grove, the dramatic hillside layout stretches over 7,200 yards. The higher areas offer spectacular views of the expansive fairways, flanked by over 180 bunkers. High grasses and ornamentals form the borders for holes. Southern Dunes is well known for its large, fast and undulating greens that will test even the most seasoned of golfers.

Dress code: No tank tops or cut offs are allowed but spikes are.
